Hello everyone.

I am about to buy an RX 9070 and both these models cost the same, $600:

1) ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 OC Edition

2) Gigabyte RX 9070 Gaming OC

I wanted to compare both PCBs but I can only find Gigabyte's. Without visual proof of which one has more filters, capacitors and drmos phases, which one would you choose?

I'd be extremely thankful if someone could shine some light on this topic. I want it to be as future proof as possible, including OC, and clean power delivery concerns me.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps these will be of assistance;

1) ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 OC Edition
I presume it'll be a step down from the TUF;

The TUF IMHO is on par with the Gaming range of hardware from Gigabyte. Prime's being the entry level branding/naming/nomenclature.

2) Gigabyte RX 9070 Gaming OC

Honestly, they're all the same GPU chip and will perform about the same. You're advised to undervolt your GPU as well to get the most out of it.

Thanks for your answer. The only PCB images I could get so far are the ones from techpowerup; I have the strong feeling that there is a substantial quality difference between TUF and Prime versions, as there is in other models (5060ti has 20% less filters).

The image of the gigabyte, on the other hand, seems quite "filled".

Would you say the "GB Gaming OC version" stands at a higher level of quality?

Between the 9070 options, go for the model with better thermals and VRM quality, especially if you plan on sustained loads or gaming. Also, if you're building a custom setup or upgrading supporting components like power delivery or sensors, Jotrin offers a great selection of compatible parts to help you fine-tune performance and stability.
Between the two, Gigabyte often uses beefier cooling and solid VRM design. Without PCB proof from ASUS, I’d lean Gigabyte for better overclocking headroom and cleaner, more reliable power delivery.

If you use GIGABYTE mobo and want to overclock your graphics card then don't buy 9070 gaming oc.
GCC would automatically override the OC settings to default in AMD software when it boots despite of whatever OC params you set in GCC&AMD software, which significantly influenced the convenience of GPU OC.

In China, Powercolor 9070 red devil is currently the same price as Gigabyte gaming oc.
I've bought Gaming OC and Red Devil and made several tests.
Red devil get 10 degrees higher GPU temp(70) than the gaming OC(60) during furmark test, but its fan speed is only 750 RPM, which made it extremely quiet. After adjusting the fan speed manually it immediately beats gaming oc.
