For me I saw John Wick Chapter 4 , Thursday. Fun! But still none top the 2nd one for me, at least its opening.

Chapter 4. 8/10. Good action, slacking on story.

Tomorrow I plan to see Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Amoung Thieves, looks - exactly like what I want out of this genre now.

Excited!

Avatar: The Way of Water. James Cameron after all.

Thanks for adding to the post with something that was not asked. :)
Sorry, the conversation was very clear in my head.

I read your post and started thinking...what was the last movie I saw in a theater? And I can't remember. I have watched so much online since Covid and have bought new movies, Like Nope when it came to Amazon, but I really do not remember the last time I was at a theater.

I should have included more info. But it is the weekend and I just watched my team win while having a couple of liquid libations. Sincerely sorry to intrude.

I do believe if you were sitting next to me when I said that, you would have laughed and fistbumped me. 🤔

You're fine. I honestly thought it was some sort of troll post -- like to break the threads meaning up or something. Anyway all fine. Back when Covid hit btw, I bought my first 4k tv, for fairly cheap, still have it. Yet...I never got into streaming like most.

I had to wfh when covid hit (still do), and needed background noise while I worked, so I got caught up on movies, tv and every documentary that was interesting.

First 2 years I worked about 70 hours a week in my garage office, Last year has been much better, about 60 hours a week.

Saw Dungeons And Dragons Honor Among Thieves as I said I would today. It was terrific! Even compared to the rewatches in the last 4 months its the best film I've seen all year! Bravo! Note: The humor was great - the delivery of the humor was even greater, Chris Pine is deliciously underrated and underused in Hollywood, hopefully this gives him what he always needed, attention in the spotlight.

not a big tom cruise fan but top gun 2 was everything i hoped it would be.

just sit back and enjoy the ride :)

Its the only movie that makes me REALLY wish I wasn't in an apartment lol, I'd love a soundbar with Atmos for it. haha =) it would be amazing experience.

John Wick 4 is the only new movie worth seeing within 1 whole year.

It was beautifully shot - for sure. Howevere I feel the last 2 Wicks lacked a lot in story rather than building. Still 4 was/is an 8/10 for me. Personally I'm most excited (when it comes to Action films) Mission: Impossible 7. In July.

The Super Mario movie was the one I was last, and as for the future, I'm looking forward to the new Flash movie - I'm stoked to see M. Keaton back in the role, he is still unmatched IMO!

I've seen the following movies this summer:

Indy 5 (good-great perhaps)
Guardians Volume 3 (good)
Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 (So-so the story was a mess)
Oppenheimer (beautifully shot, well done Nolan)
