Samsung's sweet spot Odyssey G6 QD-OLED is just $549 right now — That's $250 off this 27-inch QHD 240 Hz gaming monitor before Prime Day ends

Having had this monitor for a while I feel that there is one thing to keep in mind for potential buyers.

The panel care cycle (pixel-refresh) takes around 19 minutes to complete on my unit.

In the original firmware the OSD stated that it would take around 10 minutes to complete. This caused me a bit of a headache since i didn't understand how to tell when it was done and turning the monitor back on too soon would result in having to start over. Through much trial and error I can now say that it takes a very consistent 19 minutes on my unit. And that the minuscule led just under the center of the screen will indicate when it is done.
In the latest firmware update ver 1003.0 the OSD message has been changed to now state that it will take around 30 minutes.
I can't say if this is different from monitor to monitor but I do wonder why this is not something reviewers seem to have noticed.

I can live with this behavior but had I known when I bought the thing I might have maybe considered another brand of 360hz QD-OLED

My model is the G60SD, specifically the LS27DG602SUXEN
