I'm new to 3D printere and this is not something I will use a lot. Right now I need to print some storage bins. One color will be fine and I don't need blazing speed and FDM is ok. I looked at the tom'sHardware "Best Budget 3D Printers 2025: High-Quality Output on the Cheap" review on June 4, 2025. The problem I am having is that the Sovol SV06 Ace (best overall) and the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE (best for beginners) have terrible reviews on Amazon. The Sovol has 15% and the Ender has up to 20% one star reviews all with what sound like legitimate problems with the hardware and customer support.

Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions for what's really important to look for in a 3D printer and specific printer recommendations. Thanks for everyones help.

Amazon reviews are worth exactly what you paid for them.

I am currently on my 6th printer.
In your case, I would absolutely go with the Ender. I have 2 of them.
Ender 3 Max, and Ender 3 S1 Pro.

My current main printer is Bambu X1Carbon. But that is way out of your price range.
