Question Front panel on motherboard has more pins than case cable

Hey guys,
I got the aorus b650i mobo and the shiny snake l300 case. When putting it together, I realized the motherboard had 10 pins for the front panel while the case's cable only had 9 with the 10th spot filled in. Are these 2 just not compatible?
If so, is there a way to tell if a case would be compatible with my board when buying it online?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You sure you're not looking at the front panel audio header/connector for the case and confusing it with the front panel power/LED connector? If it's indeed the front panel audio header/connector, they should plug in with pin #8 being blank, hence the blocked out part;

You might want to take images of the connectors you have access to for your case, then host them on a site akin to Imgur, then pass on a link for us to see.

Just an FYI, looking through your motherboard's manual;

would lead me to think you might not be able to hook up the front panel power/LED button without incurring clearance issues.

Thanks for the reply!
I had the case packed up and ready to return before I decided to ask around so I can't include pictures unfortunately. The cable was labeled f_header with one of the corners blocked out. With regards to clearance, on reddit, someone said that I could get front panel jumper wires and use the power and restart pins on the main motherboard. The only thing is fans. The reviews I've seen on youtube talk as if it has multiple sys_fan spots but I can only find one on the manual. Am I missing something or is there only just the one?
